A Spiritual Experience Gathering
When and Where?
First and Third Saturdays at 6pm at 1017 S. Elm St., #105, Carrollton, TX 75006, which is the small meeting space of MCC (Metropolitan Community Church) and Lifetree Café. Each gathering will last between 1 – 1 ¼ hours.
What’s the goal or purpose?
For some, religion has lost their interest, but spirituality remains captivating. The idea of a Divine Presence who can be interacted with is a highly attractive, or at least curiosity-inducing idea. Deep Waters
offers people a place to have a genuine spiritual experience leading to greater awareness and love of the Divine, self, creation, and others and to a deeper, more healthy trust and peace.
Who is this for?
Any individual who desires to have genuine spiritual experience in an open way with a small group of people.
Are there any requirements?
The only requirements for attending is interest in connecting with the Divine and willingness to participate with the group in doing so. Christian belief is not necessary to attend. Belief in a Divine Being is not even necessary to attend – just an openness to experience that Divine Being if She/He does exist.
What will it be like?
Each gathering will include a welcome and explanation of Deep Waters and that evenings plan, an intentional entering into sacred space, an exercise/experience, a discussion of the experience, and encouragement for the week. Each gathering will be shaped both by the exercise and by the participation/experiences of those present.
